Current Projects
Springdale, OH Rebranding
Started December 2022
As part of a Branding and Identity course, I am involved in creating an entirely new brand identity for the City of Springdale.  The project has already involved work with research on the city and its residents, logo and symbol system ideation, and team efforts for different brand components.  I am focusing on photography and texture as it will apply to the brand and am involved with giving feedback to other branding section teams.
Early Childhood Literacy Campaign
Started December 2022
This project is the focus of my capstone in the AGC program at UC Blue Ash.  Research on my chosen topic, early childhood literacy, led me to realize that children who live in low-income households are often severely left behind without proper support to ever reach age-appropriate literacy.  There are a number of foundations that aim to provide books to these demographics, but this alone can only take a child so far.  A key part of a child's growth is a parent or similar figure spending time with the child, guiding them through reading and writing exercises.  However, parents in low-income households are often short on time with multiple jobs.
Fine Art Thesis Show - Preparation
Started February 2023
As a fourth-year fine art student, my thesis show will take place at the end of the next academic year.  This project is currently in the concepting and research phase, but will look to themes of sentimentality, memory, and community through painting.
